I am a freelance photographer specializing in wildlife, nature, event and real estate photography. I have been an active photographer since 1967. I was born in Kristiansund, Norway in 1951. My love for photography started when I received my first Pentax single lens reflex camera as a gift from my father at the age of 15. He told me that if I made enough from selling images or providing services to pay for my gear I have “made it”. And I have stuck to that.
I started on my road as a photographer being a stringer for the local newspaper capturing interesting people and events. Travelling around the beautiful west coast of Norway, I soon discovered my love for nature photography. The images in my portfolio follow my travels from Norway to Canada, coast to coast, with many powerful images from the Pacific Northwest where I spend many years.
